CONWAY — Here’s the short review of M&D Playhouse’s production of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Forum”: You will laugh. A lot.
“Funny Thing,” which opened Thursday at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse with performances Thursday through Sunday for the next four weeks, is a bawdy musical comedy inspired by the works of ancient Roman playwright Plautus, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart.
