FRYEBURG, Maine — There’s a Valentine’s story on Main Street in Fryeburg. Roy and Duddie Andrews will be married 50 years next year. With only about 7 percent of American relationships achieving that length of marital togetherness, we’re celebrating their story on Valentine’s Day.

JACKSON — Three hours. That’s how long it took to move an important piece of 19th-century history 150 feet Tuesday morning in Jackson, inch by inch.
JACKSON — Officer William Eaton of the Jackson Police Department graduated April 25 with the 199th class of the New Hampshire Police Academy, completing the intensive 16-week residential program required for law enforcement certification in the state.
