Director Eli Roth has given horror fans something to be grateful for this holiday season: A bloody, R-rated Thanksgiving-themed slasher movie with a masked killer who carves his way to a high body count.

Given the popularity of holiday-themed slashers, it’s kind of surprising it took this long for Thanksgiving to get its own blood-soaked film.
