OSSIPEE — The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office normally helps landlords carry out evictions. Now, the sheriff’s office is the one facing eviction.

The Village District of Eidelweiss has ordered Carroll County to vacate the Madison property where the sheriff’s emergency communications tower stands by the end of the year, citing alleged violations of the agreement governing the tower, including the amount of insurance carried by the county and changes made to the tower.
