ERROL — State archaeologist Mark Doperalski of the Division of Historic Resources and 20 members of the 2023 N.H. State Conservation and Rescue Archaeology Program (SCRAP) field school have spent two five-day-long weeks at Mollidgewock State Park, about three miles south of this small village on Route 16.

The rustic 46-acre park is located at the confluence of the Androscoggin River and the north-flowing Mollidgewock Brook within the Thirteen Mile Woods Scenic Area.
