AUGUSTA, Maine — In a battle of unbeatens, the Cony Rams got the better of the Fryeburg Academy Raiders in a matchup of football heavyweights last Friday night. This round went to the Rams, who exploded for 47 first-half points en route to a 53-7 victory.

FA, the defending Class C champs, ran into an offensive juggernaut led by Cony quarterback Parker Morin, who is widely considered the top high school QB in the Pine Tree State. Morin threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns – all in the first half — on Friday.
