FRYEBURG, Maine — Fryeburg Fair — Maine’s fall blue ribbon classic — got off to a good start Sept. 27 with its first-ever Saturday opening as the fair has expanded to nine days for its 175th year, with the fair running through Sunday, Oct. 5.
The weekend saw great weather and warm temperatures, as did Monday, Woodsmen’s Field Day. Clear skies will continue in the forecasts for the week, bolstering hopes by fair officials for a strong week.
