It’s fine. That’s the quick review of “Aquaman,” the latest film from DC Comics film universe. It is neither over or underwhelming. If there was ever a film that was simply whelming, “Aquaman” is it.

Jason Momoa, who previously appeared in “Batman v. Superman” and “Justice League,” stars as Arthur Curry, a very bro-version of Aquaman. Momoa is charismatic and likable, but a little of his Aquadude persona goes a long way and, unfortunately, little is done with the character.
