PINKHAM NOTCH — After completing an inspection on Wednesday afternoon of Tuckerman Ravine and other parts of upper Mount Washington following Monday’s heavy rain, organizers of the Tuckerman Inferno that was planned this Saturday decided to postpone the challenging race to April 11.

Cold weather following Monday’s rain turned conditions to hard pack, making for dangerous conditions, according to race organizer Jake Risch of Madison.
