ALBANY — Four people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle, head-on crash Sunday afternoon on Route 112 (the Kancamagus Highway) near Hobbs Brook, according to Conway Fire Chief Phil Remington. One of the drivers may face charges, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office says.

On Sunday at about 2:26 p.m., responders were dispatched to the Kancamagus about 4 miles west of Route 16. When crews arrived, they found two heavily damaged vehicles: a black 2012 BMW 3 Series sedan with a trapped occupant and a white 2022 Subaru Ascent resting on a guardrail.
