“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse,” the follow up to 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse,” is another beautiful and imaginative animated adventure for not one but several spider-themed superheroes.
“Into the Spider-verse” was a truly original animated film that blended different animation styles and played with frame rates to create something that we hadn’t quite seen before. The bold, kinetic animation was a risk that paid off with an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
