OSSIPEE — The Carroll County Department of Corrections recently hosted New Hampshire's first 40-hour Struggle Well course, bringing together corrections officers from across the state for training focused on mental wellness and post-traumatic growth.
Held June 8-12 at the county jail, the course drew corrections officers from eight of New Hampshire's 10 counties. The training was provided at no cost through the Boulder Crest Foundation, a national non-profit organization that develops programs for veterans, military personnel and first responders.
