CONWAY — Skiing on manmade snow and in 50-degree temperatures, the NHIAA Cross-Country Skiing State Championship races for Division I and Division II had a spring feel to them.

The Kennett High boys finished fifth out of eight schools, while senior Gabe Freedman had a parity of top 5 finishes and sophomore Finn Lajoie cracked the top 20 in both.
