CONWAY — Faced with a $1.55 million increase in health insurance premiums, the Conway School Board is proposing more personnel cuts.

“We’re getting beat up on health insurance this year,” board member Brittany Hodge said at the Dec. 22 meeting. “Health insurance is kicking us, and it’s not just for our existing teachers but for retired teachers as well.”
