CONWAY — Conway Selectman Peter Donohoe told fellow board members Tuesday that he recently met with state Sen. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom) for an extended discussion that ranged from local revenue proposals to Route 16 traffic and safety concerns.

Donohoe recapped the conversation on Dec. 23, saying the two spoke primarily about possible changes to rooms and meals tax, a local hotel fee and highway planning.
