OSSIPEE — Four Republicans and one Democrat are running to fill the District 7 state representative seat vacated by Glenn Cordelli (R-Tuftonboro). Two of the Republicans are running as write-in candidates.

In November, Cordelli resigned from his Carroll District 7 seat after selling his home and moving out of the district, which spans Tuftonboro, Wolfeboro and Ossipee. Prior to the resignation, he chaired the House Education Policy and Administration Committee. In November 2024, Cordelli was elected to a sixth two-year term, beating Democrat Bobbi Boudman 5,095-3,871.
