CONWAY — Lawmakers in Carroll County have filed legislation to name the new roundabout near the police station after the Bedford, Mass., couple, David and Cathy Oliveira, who were killed in a Labor Day 2018 collision at the intersection that the roundabout replaced.
Sen. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom) is the lead sponsor of SB 629. Others are Richard Brown (R-Moultonborough) and Conway state representatives Tom Buco, David Paige and Steve Woodcock, all Democrats.Â
