The total solar eclipse on April 8 is just around the corner. You may be wondering whether special eclipse viewing glasses are really all that necessary. It can’t hurt to look at the eclipse without them if you just look really quick, right? Wrong! Don’t put your eyesight at risk! But just exactly why is it so harmful?
