Miller unleashes the fury in new Mad Max movie

 

"Mad Max: Fury Road," the fourth film in a franchise coming 30 years after the last installment, is as rare a commodity as gasoline and water in the post-apocalyptic world in which it is set. It is a brazen action film that not only matches its predecessors, but in many ways surpasses them.

Director and co-writer George Miller hasn’t made a revolutionary film, but it is being met with almost universal praise. The reason is simple: it is the first no-nonsense, no gimmicks, purely visceral action movie in decades.
