CONWAY — The renovated Majestic Theatre returns to its roots as a movie house on Friday and Saturday, with big-screen showings of the original 1939 “Wizard of Oz” on Friday and Sidney Lumet’s 1978 movie, “The Wiz” on Saturday. The films are a wonderful prelude and celebration of the soon to be-released “Wicked.”
This is the first of a series of pop-up film showings planned for the holidays and 2025.
