Shaun of the Dead

The popularity of the zombie horror sub-genre has had its up and downs but has never gone away entirely. Thanks to the TV show “The Walking Dead” and its spin-off, “Fear the Walking Dead,” zombies are more popular than ever before.

Zombies weren't always decaying corpses with a hunger for brains. The roots of the zombie can be tied to Haitian voodoo and the belief that through sorcery a dead body can be revived to do the bidding of their resurrector.
