OSSIPEE — The Ossipee Public Library has completed the professional preservation and framing of an original illustration by acclaimed children’s author and illustrator David McPhail, thanks to a $2,200 Moose Plate Grant from the New Hampshire State Library.

The grant was awarded in November 2025, and the Northeast Document Conservation Center has since completed the conservation work on the artwork, which is part of the library’s collection.
