CONWAY — Despite going 0-2 on the road last week, Coach Ella Chandler saw a lot of positives from her Kennett High field hockey team.

“With the short preseason and not enough girls to scrimmage full 11 vs. 11, we’ve not had a lot of time to simulate game conditions,” Chandler said by phone Monday. “We have now. I’m not discouraged. We played two really good teams and held our own.”
