FRYEBURG, Maine — In a game marred by injuries, the Fryeburg Academy football team lost 25-21 in the final seconds to last year’s Class B North Regional champion, Augusta's Cony High School, on opening night in Atwood Stadium on Friday.

The Rams rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 unanswered points to secure a victory. The game-winning touchdown came with 2.9 seconds to play when Cony quarterback Drew Lindquist threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Oliver Odom in the back of the end zone just out of the grasp of an FA defender.
