CONWAY — The Kennett High girls’ soccer team got its season off on the right note last week with an opening-night 3-0 victory over rival Berlin at home in Gary Millen Stadium last Tuesday. The Eagles took that momentum to Norwood on Friday, and despite controlling play for much of the second half and deserving a better fate, fell 2-1 to Coe-Brown Northwood Academy.
KHS sits at 1-1 in Division II after the first week of regular season action.
