FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy girls’ alpine team came oh-so close to defending its Class A State Alpine Championship at Shawnee Peak in Bridgton, Maine, Feb.14-15. While the Raiders took team honors in the slalom, Edward Little, which was second in both the slalom and GS, won the overall title by only seven points.

Sam Dyer’s troops gave it all they had on the slopes, skiing as a team while supporting one another on every run.
