To the editor:

How did Bobbi Boudman defeat Dale Fincher in District 7 (Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro and Ossipee), which has sent a Democrat to Concord only once in 100 years? It wasn’t the money spent. Fincher outspent Boudman ($60,000 to $12,000). The yard signs didn’t matter. His were bigger and more abundant. Was it that Boudman was well known and Fincher was new? Was that enough to overcome a Republican advantage of 14 percent?
