CONWAY — To pave or not to pave. Though seemingly settled, the debate continues whether to pave a section of the proposed Phase II of the North Conway Rec Path that would run 2.2 miles from Cranmore Mountain through Whitaker Woods and terminate in Intervale. The proposed paved section is 1.1 miles long.

The year of ongoing discussions led to a well-attended selectmen’s meeting Dec. 3 held in the Marshall Gym to accommodate the large crowd of 70 people that had tried to attend a discussion of Phase 2 of the Conway Rec Path, which had to be postponed the previous week.
