OSSIPEE — The president and CEO of CarePlus Ambulance recently admitted in a letter he sent to the Carroll County towns served by a multi-town contract that an ambulance had to be take out of service because of outdated supplies.

North Conway Ambulance, a division of CarePlus, has a contract to serve Eaton, Effingham, Freedom, Madison, Ossipee and Tamworth. It started April 1, 2015, and expires March 31, 2020.
