CONWAY — Selectmen last Tuesday approved new rules banning possession of alcohol at town parks, including kayak put-ins and takeouts, and requiring professional dog walkers to obtain permission before operating their businesses on town land.

The board held public hearings on Sept. 1 and 15, about the proposed changes to Chapter 90 of the municipal code, titled “Parks and Town Property.”
