CONWAY — Apparently, a local man accused of sexually assaulting and strangling a teen at a party of J-1 workers is on his way to being deported by ICE as the criminal case against him remains pending. The case had been set to go to trial in November.Â
Miguel Hernan Ramirez Arellano, 24, of Conway was indicted March 20 on a felony count of aggravated felonious sexual assault for allegedly holding down and digitally penetrating an 18-year-old woman. The indictment carries a possible 20-year prison sentence. He was also indicted on a Class B felony charge of second-degree assault for allegedly strangling the woman.
