Gov. Chris Sununu announces plans to continue with remote learning through the end of the school year at a press conference on Thursday. (COURTESY WMUR)

CONWAY — Remote learning will continue for the rest of this school year. Gov. Chris Sununu, who gave the initial remote learning order on March 15, extended it Thursday from May 4 into June, when schools will recess for the summer due to the COVID-19 virus.

It was a double blow for students on Thursday as the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association officially canceled spring sports (see page 19).
