OSSIPEE — Selectmen on Tuesday met to discuss buying a new building for the police department and selling the old one as well as adopting a new short-term rental ordinance, set special town meeting date for the proposed demo of the Main Street building and mulled closing a popular but reportedly dangerous swimming hole.

Normally, the board meets Monday afternoons, but this meeting was scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. It was attended by about four other people.
