CONWAY — About 1,000 people gathered in Conway Village on Saturday for a “No Kings” protest, part of a coordinated series of demonstrations held across the country. Meanwhile, similar protests were going on at over 50 locations across New Hampshire, from cities like Manchester and Concord to small towns like Winchester.

The Conway event began around noon with a march up Main Street (Route 16), followed by several hours of rallying at the Four Corners with signs, singing and speeches.
