ALBANY — The White Mountains Interpretive Association, in conjunction with the White Mountain National Forest, will be sponsoring a Passaconaway Heritage Day at the Russell Colbath Historic Site on the Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) in Albany on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Two Civil War units will participate in a Civil War encampment. Each unit will set up camp, show visitors what life was like for a Civil War soldier and demonstrate a working cannon. One group will camp overnight on the site and one will be there for the day.
