CONWAY — The MWV Arts Association's Main Street Art Gallery is highlighting the paintings of Kathleen Gilligan on Friday evening, Sept. 30, from 4-7 p.m. with an open house.

Gilligan is a retired Boston school teacher who has enjoyed living in Mount Washington Valley since 2007. She works in multiple media — watercolor, oils and pastels. Her interest and study of art goes back to her teen years when she attended Saturday classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
