CONCORD — Sen. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom) has been appointed to serve on the Cyanobacteria Mitigation Loan and Grant Fund Task Force created under Senate Bill 598.

Senate President Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry), who appointed McConkey, said his experience representing communities affected by harmful cyanobacteria blooms made him well suited to help lead the effort.
