CONWAY — Sometimes when you see live theater, you know exactly how you feel about what you’ve just seen. Other times, you need to sit with a play. Such is the case with M&D Playhouse’s production of Madeleine George’s “Hurricane Diane,” which opened Thursday, May 16, at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse in North Conway with performances Thursday through Sunday.
As I'm writing this, it has been about 36 hours since I saw the final dress rehearsal of “Hurricane Diane” directed by Deb Jasien. I still don’t know how I feel about it, and I’m not certain if my ambivalence is due to the text or the performance.
