CONWAY — M&D Playhouse is going back to middle school with the energetic “13: The Musical,” which opened Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse in North Conway and will be performed Thursday through Sunday for the next three weeks.
Alec Kerr, the entertainment editor for The Conway Daily Sun, sits down with Jordan Palestrant, Corinne Baylies MacDonald, BluJay Groves and Noah Poirier of M&D Playhouse's production of "13: The Muscial," which opens Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse in North Conway with performances Thursday through Sunday through March 10. “13,” with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn, centers on 12-year-old Evan who is excited to celebrate his bar mitzvah at a massive party with all of his friends in New York City. But then his parents get a divorce, and he moves to Indiana with his mom.
