CONWAY — M&D at Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse will be holding open auditions for "The Norwegians" by C. Denby Swanson, as directed by Rich Russo, on Sunday, Aug. 25, and Monday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. at 2760 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.

A strong, bitter comedy about women scorned in Minnesota and the really nice gangsters — Norwegian hit men — they hire to whack their ex-boyfriends.
