The months of May and June are the peak of the nesting season for most of our resident and migrant birds. Since the beginning of May birds have been looking for mates, defending territories, and starting the process of raising broods. With this comes the wonderful bird song that fills the air on spring mornings, and that ultimately marks the end of another day as the melancholy flute tones of thrushes mark the entrance into dusk.
