NAPLES — Woodland owners with 10-plus acres of forest in towns in and around the Lake Region and Sebago Lake are invited to gather at Camp Skylemar in Naples with a team of woodland experts for a day of learning, lunch, and connections on Saturday, Sept. 19 for Woodland Owner Appreciation Day.

Much of Maine’s forests are privately owned, and this event will provide landowners with resources to help their woodlands thrive now and for years to come. This day of celebration and education includes guided forest walks with local foresters, biologists, and conservationists, as well as time to network with other landowners. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with resource professionals to ask questions and discuss goals for their land.
