CONWAY — The Mount Washington Valley Choral Society’s eight-decade tradition of presenting joyful holiday concerts continues on Saturday at the Majestic Theatre, at 36 Main St. in Conway. “A Baroque Christmas” will be performed at two shows: one at 3 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.
The Baroque Era spanned from the late 17th- to mid-18th century and was characterized by music with energetic, dance-like rhythms and rich, intricate harmonies.
