EATON — The red-painted Eaton Village Store on Route 153 is like a daytime version of “Cheers,” — it’s where everyone knows your name.

“We love our regulars — I call them our breakfast bar flies,” jokes co-proprietor Maggie Flynn, who l with her husband, Reaves Black, leases the store from the non-profit Eaton Preservation Society.
