CONWAY — Supporters of the proposed Conway Recreation Path Phase 2 announced this week they have secured their final private land easement along the N.H. Electric Cooperative powerline corridor, which is seen as a key step forward for the project — though selectmen remain split on its future.

Mount Washington Valley Trails Association President Chris Meier said the written commitment from a landowner was received just before Tuesday’s selectmen’s meeting.
