CONWAY — Saturday kicked off Day I of an annual four-day youth clinic hosted by the Kennett Baseball Program in the Peter Ames Gymnasium. Over 60 kids registered to work on their game and get ready for the upcoming Cal Ripken season.

“Every year, we get about 70 kids, which is great,” said Josh McAllister, Eagles’ head coach. “This year, there are 170 kids playing locally in our Cal Ripken program.”
