CONWAY — Mountain Top Music Center’s longtime string teacher, Chris Nourse, will join with members of the Mountain Top Community Orchestra to play duets dating from the 17th to the 21st centuries at noon on Friday, May 4, at Conway Village Congregational Church (aka The Brown Church.)

The program starts with "Romance for Violin and Viola" by modern Canadian composer Jordan Grigg, written in 2012, and ends with a two-viola version of a Mozart duo for cello and bassoon, composed in 1775. In between are excerpts from Mozart’s opera "The Magic Flute" and a duo for flute and viola by British composer Malcolm Arnold, written in 1946.
