FRYEBURG — There will be no sneaking up on opponents this season by the Fryeburg Academy baseball team. The Raiders are viewed by many as the top team in the state of Maine, while senior Alex Allain, who will attend UMass Lowell in the fall, has been tapped as the best player in the Pine Tree State.

“It’s nice to hear those sorts of things,” said Coach Greg Allain, who is in his fifth year at the helm of the Raiders. “We know there’s a target on our backs, but I think we’re excited about this season.”
