Review: 'Wrinkle' gets it right some of the 'time'

Cory Doctorow said in a review quote for the 50th anniversary edition of Madeleine L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time” that it is “a book that every young person should read, a book that provides a road map for seeking knowledge and compassion even at the worst of times, a book to make the world a better place.”

The same sentiment applies to director Ava DuVernay’s film adaptation of the classic novel, which, for all the changes to the source material by screenwriters Jennifer Lee and Jeff Stockwell, manages to capture the novel’s strong themes and emotions.
