Let’s cut straight to the chase. “Jurassic World” is not as good as “Jurassic Park,” but it is the best of the sequels. Where as the original took a B-movie plot and gave it a serious treatment, the fourth film is a gloriously silly, shut-your-brains-off blockbuster.

It has been 22 years since “Jurassic Park,” a game changer in terms of special-effects driven filmmaking. The blend of groundbreaking computer-generated effects with remarkably detailed animatronics convincingly brought dinosaurs to life.
